Assists strives to build relationships within the communities in which we live and work. While we are committed to our fundraising goals, we are also committed to awarding grants throughout the community.
Grants are awarded based upon need and the advancement of the mission of the Assists Foundation. To receive consideration, an application must be completed and delivered to Assists at least 60 days prior to the distribution request date. Grants are limited to $3,000 annually and the Charitable Contributions Committee will determine the grantees and the funding amount on a bi-annual basis. We appreciate all interested in contacting Assists to serve as a grantor for your organization. Applicants must adhere to the Charitable Contribution Policies and Guidelines.
To date, grants have been awarded to the following organizations: Called to Greatness (www.iamctg.org), The Morningstar Family Foundation/Santa's Helpers, G.R.A.D.E., Kansas Action for Healthy Kids, Kansas City Sports Commission and Foundation, Lawrence Public Library, Ballard Community Services, Boys and Girls Clubs of Lawrence, Kansas Youth Empowerment Academy, Family Promise of Lawrence, Ronald McDonald House Charities of Northeast Kansas, House for Hope Wichita, Outside for a Better Inside, Head Start of Lawrence, Kaw Valley Young Life and PIECE.
